Art, Artist and Mental Health

hero-image

A safe haven for artists to connect and share challenges one could face.

The Creative Mind community is on a mission to inform people that no one needs to suffer in silence in order to create art. We are a group of artists and mental health professionals based in London. The Creative Mind is not a business, so none of the events we organise or any expert advice we provide regarding mental health are paid for. Artists here are encouraged to interact, co-work, and share their experiences.

Since moving here, I've needed help getting over the cultural shock, I felt I was alone in this battling to understand and connect. The Creative Mind Mental Health team support helped me overcome it. Can you believe I originally wrote to them annoymously fearing they would consider me weirdo! The team could not be more welcoming!

Finding an art group that my daughter and I could participate in together proven to be challenging for me. We both enjoy painting, but I am not a professional artist , my daughter is. The Creative Mind welcomes everyone. You don't need to be an established artist to join!

I used to have a hard time staying inspired and motivated. I constantly criticised my own work and believed that no one would want to see any of it! I later found The Creative Mind, who helped me in building up my confidence and launching my work for the very first time! For years, it was just laying around my apartment!
